AFTERNOON ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES (LEVELS 1-7)
2 x 105 minutes per week
Our language courses consist of two lessons weekly, each lasting 105 minutes.
level 1
First Steps
Start of course: 1st September
Primarily for younger students (early primary) just beginning to learn English.
In this course you will:
get to know the letters and their associated sounds, making it easier to understand and pronounce English words correctly.
master the correct use and pronunciation of the five English vowels, providing a solid foundation for further learning.
learn the spelling of words and how to read multisyllabic words, becoming more confident in reading.
acquire varied vocabulary in exciting topics such as family, holidays, weather, and animals, fulfilling Cambridge curriculum vocabulary development goals.
be able to express yourself in simple sentences on subjects like the human body, emotions, food, clothing, professions, or celebrations.
level 2

Building on the basics, confident language use
Start of course: 1st September
This level is ideal for children who have basic English skills and can communicate in simple sentences about everyday topics. This course builds on A1-level skills, enhancing them and introducing new verb tenses and themed vocabulary.
In this course you will:
Develop your reading, writing, and spelling skills,
Become familiar with suffixes, consonant clusters, and compound phrases,
Begin reading short supported literary and informative texts.
By course end you will be able to:
- Use simple present, past, and future tenses in speaking and writing
- Apply themed vocabulary in exciting topics such as gastronomy, dinosaurs and the Stone Age, weather and climate, animals, and outer space.
This aligns with Cambridge international curriculum vocabulary and grammar goals, ensuring a solid base for language learning.
level 3

More complex language use in class and real life
Start of course: 1st September
This level is for you if you already have confident basic English skills, reaching CEFR A2. Here you strengthen your language and thinking skills further. Maintaining joy in learning and curiosity is equally important.
During classes you will:
- Learn how to correctly construct simple and complex sentences,
Express yourself accurately in multiple tenses (present, past, future),
Expand your vocabulary and work with more complex grammatical structures,
Practice complex vowel combinations, r-controlled sounds, silent “e” usage, and open syllables,
Learn to identify and correctly use words with the same or similar pronunciation but different meanings,
Read and analyze longer literary and factual texts,
Master modal verbs, adverbs, and comparative and superlative adjectives.
You will explore exciting subjects like:
- a healthy lifestyle, travel, machines and inventions, music, environmental protection, design, and technology.
This level is an excellent springboard if your goal is to communicate more confidently, precisely, and complexly in English, both at school and in everyday life.
level 4

From sentences to text creation
Start of course: 1st September
You reach this level if you can already express yourself in simple, everyday phrases and are close to CEFR B1. The goal is to expand your vocabulary on more specialized topics and learn how to build short texts in English.
During this course you will:
Work with prefixes and suffixes that take your comprehension and writing to a new level.
You will be able to read increasingly difficult texts such as excerpts from short stories and novels.
By the end of the course you will confidently use:
Simple past and past continuous tenses, modal verbs.
Various future tense structures, all aligned with Cambridge curriculum grammar goals.
You will work with interesting topics such as:
Ancient Egypt, global festivals and cultures, the arts, and life in the year 3000.
level 5

Complex language use and smooth expression
Start of course: 1st September
At this level, you participate as a stable English user aiming toward intermediate (CEFR B2). You will learn to form more complex sentences and how to logically connect ideas using various conjunctions and linking expressions.
During this course you will:
apply your knowledge by reading articles, short stories, and novels, deepening your understanding of connections.
By course end you will confidently use Cambridge curriculum grammar structures expected at this level, including:
- Relative clauses,
- Zero, first, second, and third conditional forms.
You will work with exciting topics such as:
- films, stereotypes and social norms, wonders of the world, the Middle Ages, and video games.
level 6
Natural and coherent communication, moving toward B2
Start of course: 1st September
This level suits you if you are upper-intermediate and can express yourself easily on most everyday topics. The goal is to make your language even more fluent and spontaneous, communicating naturally with native speakers.
The course focuses on:
Longer oral contributions and independent writing skills
Practicing planning and delivering presentations.
In the final phase you will:
Learn Greek and Latin consonant patterns,
Deepen your understanding of complex word formation,
Read increasingly complex literary genres such as novels, short stories, and plays.
Topics include natural resources, media, rainforests, crime and punishment, and supernatural phenomena.
level 7

Complex topics, systematic reasoning, C1 exam level
Start of course: 1st September
At this level, you already use English confidently not only in everyday contexts but also to express your opinion on scientific and social topics. The course aims to help you apply the language flexibly and effectively in social and formal settings (e.g., professional or academic).
You will learn:
- How to plan and write complex, lengthy texts,
- Including reports, articles, and literary essays, all important components of CEFR C1 proficiency.
At course end:
- you will be able to accomplish high-level reading comprehension tasks, analyzing studies, short stories, plays, and novels.
- You will master the future continuous tense, Subjunctive mood, Imperative forms.
You will explore engaging themes like:
- ethical worldviews, Vikings, future visions, business life, and psychology.
