We are happy to have you at ESB in the summer as well!
Life is buzzing at the English School of Budapest even in July, as we offer exciting English language summer camps for children aged 6 to 13.
Our programs, held at our school in District II, are led by experienced native English speaking teachers, supported by Hungarian English bilingual assistants, so every child can feel comfortable, no matter their level of English.
For us, summer is all about exploration, curiosity, and building confidence – not about textbooks!
Each week is built around an exciting theme, such as nature, science, theatre, sports, or art, through which children develop their English skills playfully and almost without realizing it.
Our camps welcome not only ESB students but anyone who wants to join!
From Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, we provide enjoyable learning, three meals a day, and the attentive supportive care typical of small group activities.

Now is the time to put your ideas into practice through the ESB Curiosity Camp. We shall expand our English knowledge while performing different experiments to answer questions. We
will even put our knowledge into ‘real life’ context during a visit to the zoo. If you have an interest in investigating different scientific
theories in a fun and interactive way, then join our Curiosity Camp!
Sports Camp

Dates: June 30-July 4, 2025
Recommended age group: 7-10 years
Come spend a week in summer having fun and staying fit while practicing your English. This camp is centered on promoting a healthy lifestyle through exercise and play. Ranging from American football to obstacle courses, sports and games will be at the forefront of this camp. Additionally, we will go on several
excursions to take advantage of the summer weather in Budapest.
Outings to the swimming pool and conducting a scavenger hunt on Margaret Island will be just some of the fun-filled trips during the
week. We hope to see you there for some fun!
Harry Potter camp

Welcome all young witches and wizards to “ESB Hogwarts”! Step into a world of wonder at our Harry Potter-themed English summer camp
where students immerse themselves in the magic of language and adventure. After getting sorted into their “ESB Hogwarts House”,
students will undergo rigorous wizard training – including potions (science) class, wandmaking, arts and crafts, English spell casting, Quidditch, sports, and more. Our four wizard houses will compete all week for the coveted ESB Hogwarts House Cup by completing creative challenges that test their wizard skills. Each day we aim to foster teamwork, communication skills, and imagination, making learning feel like a grand adventure. This camp is perfect for every aspiring witch or
wizard looking to improve their English in a truly enchanted way!
ADVENTURE quest camp
